I like the windows of industrial buildings that give subtle hints of whatever might be inside.   Here is a small collection:

I have always admired the photographs of Bernd and Hilla Becher; they were the first people to systematically photograph and catalog the diverse industrial structures in Germany.   They were quite rigorous in their construction of a visual taxonomy, with their austere and objective black and white photographs, always done on a cloudy day.  I don't have their conceptual rigor, among other things, but I do like to photograph industrial buildings.

I also like piles of discarded things left on the streets:

I was happy that someone decided to park a red car here:

I didn't know what this was, a facade painted in grey with strange colorful markings.
It turns out they are putting a new facade on this building, and this is the interim stage:
