The most famous is the Basilica of San Petronio; conceived originally to be the largest in Italy, but never finished. (The Pope did not agree.) Even the front facade is half done.
The interior space is impressive, and there are some interesting features, like this chapel painted with frescoes by Modena in 1410-1415.
Also, some intarsia:
Complex of Santo Stefano, called the seven churches, although there are only four. Parts of it date back to the sixth century.
